The cube

The inner room of Solomon's house beside the city John is shown. Both are as long as they are broad and as high as they are long, and both are gold. No verse connects the two: Revelation never cites the room, so what is compared here is only what each text states, and the numbers are left in their own units.

Measured: Numbers the texts state. Stated, derived and unstated are drawn apart.

The cube. Measured — the numbers are the texts' own; stated, derived and unstated are drawn apart.

Sources:

  • Hebrew numbers read off the verse cited beside each, and checked against the annotated corpus by tests/test_correlations.py; Greek references checked against SBLGNT for existence only; their words and numbers are not machine-verified, because the figure layer holds no Greek tokens (docs/compare-and-correlate.md §4).
  • No verse makes the connection between the two. The reading that the city is the inner room enlarged is a tradition's, and is set out, labelled as one, in the entry on Ezekiel's house as the holy of holies.
